Happy Holidays Genius Fans! And thank you for 10,000 unique visitors in our first 2 months. As a result, we're giving up a ton of new Genius music. The first of many downloads and streaming audio clips are now available in the music section.

Genius continues to plan their invasion while they write and record a series of new demos over the holidays.



December 12 - 2002

Are you cold this winter? A brand new Genius hoodie would warm you right up.

The band is in the studio right now writing and recording new songs. Look for their first official 'demo CD' release in February.

Alright, so you found us. Are you one of those people who are wondering 'what happened to Neve?' Didn't those guys have that one song on 'The Faculty' soundtrack? Or might you be one of those people who want to know about our connection to Gifted? Well wonder no more, sucka. You've stumbled onto the right website.

All you have to do is take John Stephens and Tommy Gruber from Neve and blend them with Henry Flury and Sean McKinney of Gifted -- and you have Genius. That's the name of this new band.

Genius are currently writing new songs that will move you. Genius are everything you ever wanted in a rock band. Genius can whip your ass with a belt. Just take a look around this website, then join our Official Genius Community and make some new friends. We'll give you more to go on before too long...

If you attended the first-ever Genius show last night at The 56 in Los Angeles, please write up a short review and post it on the new message board for everyone to read.

To sum it up, more than 150 people crammed into this tiny club in Hollywood, CA to make the first-ever Genius show an unbelievable success. The show by far exceeded the band's expectations -- and they owe it to the fans for coming out and showing such great support!

Welcome to the first-ever Official Genius Website. We're very excited to have you here. We know that many of you, like us, have been patiently waiting for this band to get off the ground -- and we're happy to report that it's finally happening!

For now, this site will be run by the band directly -- so it will be the best place to come to get information straight from the source.

Now that Genius has booked their first show and has a collection of real songs in their repertoire, this site will finally start to have some content. Above all, it's still amazing that so many of you have stuck it out and stayed with the band for so long. Genius is truly grateful -- and they want to take you all the way!

To find out more about the first-ever Genius show, check out the shows section. Of course not everything in this site is completely finished yet, but it will be soon -- and we'll be adding new things all the time.

The Genius plan is to update the site weekly with news and personal messages from each band member, and with some help, we are also hoping to mix things up and redesign the site every month or two just to keep things interesting. That way you fans will always have a reason to visit us and no excuse not to.
